I remember seeing an ad a while ago on software that will allow you to load windows into memory with the apps so it doesnt relie on the HDs to run, making things a lot quicker. Anyone got any ideas on ths? I cant find a thing anywhere on the net about products at all.... anyone know anything or have same good links?

As said it's HyperOS and as also said I'd avoid it. You'd need 1GB+ RAM anyway...

there's a reg entry for XP to force the Kernal files from the paging area into the Memory.

Could prolly plough through the registry to find it......

It can be used to boot multiple OS simultaneously and holds everything in RAM, OS and apps. That's going to take up a fair amount of RAM, right? I had a quick look at the FAQs and it states ...

Q "Can I run a small Windows 98 internet browsing system with a total of only 512MB of RAM?"

A "Yes you can. Use 384MB of system RAM for the HyperDrive and 128MB for Windows and do not load in more than 75MB of software applications into this system."
