    Silent PSU's

    Hello all,

I'm after a 'silent' PSU on a budget. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm in the process of speccing up a new build, but theres so much choice I'm getting lost! What is there to look out for on these? It's to power the Intel 955XBK incase it makes a difference?

I'm not too much in to overclocking, and I won't be using 2 gfx cards at once, so won't be requiring that much juice.

I have just got the hyper 580 it comes with the detachable cables, sli ready (if you ever need it) a lot of power (580 and 600+ tops) and VERY SILENT cannot tell i have it and after you turn off your comp the small fan runs (you cannot hear it at all) to cool the PSU for 2 minutes to extend its life!

Cheers for your recommendations. I think that might be too much power, but having it SLi ready is a bonus.

I'll see where I can find these and for how much!
