    It certainly doesn't hang around, it's a tad noisy though but that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone

    the link above says it is 400Mhz (first pages but then 405Mhz last page) default and works up to 473Mhz Core and 1130Mhz memory, quite an improvement......
    I just wonder whether that is using the supplied heatsink and fan as at dafult windows 1024*768 at 16bit colour i runs at 47c once it has booted in windows (less than 40 seconds of turning on the computer...

    Thanks for both those notes DavidM.

    Are you saying that the manufacturer may vary because you know this, or because it's how the ScanFX products usually work?

    I ask because the item specifies the speeds of the GPU and memory, and afaik, only the XFX card clocks at those speeds. Plus the item description contains the XFX logo and some info on XFX.

    And thanks for pointing out the 4th Jan thing. I can get the money ready now I know exactly how much it's going to be .
