    DVD-RAM drive

    Is there a drive that'll accept the DVD-RAM cartridges ?

    There are plenty. IN the past you needed to get a panasonic drive with terrible specs, bot now other manufacturers have 'Super Multi' drives that take them all. have a look ever at scan.

    The one's I've seen take RAM discs, but not the cartridges.

    hmmmm. ok never thought of that

    Dabs have a panasonic one, but i can't see if it takes cartidges or not and i can't find it on either the UK or US Panasonic sites. sorry

    I think some LGs will take DVD-RAM - but I dont think it'll take the cartidges...

    I havnt seen any but then i havnt looked! They got rid of cartriges ages ago thats why

    Not quite, Panasonic still use them for their consumer DVD recorders.

    Which is exactly why I'd like a drive that reads them.
