    External HDD Lost Its Partition?

my external usb hdd was working fine, and ive come home, turned it on, and its now not got a drive letter.

in computer management, i cant 'import dynamic disk' only create a new partition.

if i do create a new partition, surely all my data on it (its full) will be lost? if so thats the last thing i want to do!

    what up?

Try something like R-studio NTFS or Easyrecovery.
You should be able to salvage some of the data.
