Headset advice needed
I bought a Logitech headset the other day (linkage) but discovered rapidly that behind the neck headsets are not designed for
1. People with larger than average heads (I'm 6 foot 6).
2. People who wear glasses.
So, rather than struggle on in discomfort I thought I'd ask you lot for advice. I have a large head (no witty comments required thank you) and I wear glasses, what headset would you recommend I take a look at?

I'm told Plantronics headsets are the business, haven't got one myself but my mate at work was very chuffed with his.
I'm 6' 1" (so have a head not incomparable in size to yours :) ) and also wear glasses so I reckon an over the head design is your best bet, here's a link to their gaming headset section:

I'd strongly recommend the Speedlink Medusa 5.1 Set. They are pretty big, so they should fit a larger head. The sound quality is excellent, and priced at around 40 quid, they are excellent value.
However, I don't wear glasses, so I can't really vouch for their ability to handle glasses.

That Medusa set looks very nice, I'm a little concerned about the connectors though. My cheap onboard sound apparently does 5.1 but only has a single 3.5mm jack for speakers. 5.1 sound is not an area I've looked at before so I have no idea if this would work but I do notice the Medusa amp has inputs front/rear/base.

I've got a pretty large head and glasses and my medusas fit fine, they go absoloutly massive. They come with an adapter for single 3.5mm outputs but that means you can't use the amp. I'm surprised, if you mobo says it does 5.1 sound then it should have three outputs. Even if you don't use the surround sound the headphones are superb. highly recommended.

If the mobo supports surround and only has 3 sockets, it means that the mic and aux sockets become rear and centre/sub sockets when in 5.1 mode. You will loose the mic option if you do that.
The alternative there is to get the USB version of the Medusa!

I haven't heard great things about the USB version. You may not lose your mic port if your case has one on.
