Chayang Fun Minicube noisy power supply

I have a Chyang Fun Minicube, which has a CWT-150-FXCP power supply.

    This is a bit noisy.

Anyone know a suitable fan / power supply replacement. The fan is 80mm X 80mm x 15mm, and looks like it was designed to be replaced.

I thought standard fans were 25mm deep.

Found a panaflo fan on www.2k1.co.uk. Had to know the part number... FBA08T12L.
Great fan. Nice and quiet. (23 dBa I think.)

And it's only 15mm deep. Like the one I took out of the power supply which was a Xinruilian RDH8015s.

    Hey,

Just wondering how successful you have been silencing it? I've got the exhaust and CPU fan at 5V and temps aren't too bad, but the damn PSU fan is so sodding noisy! I stuck a chopstick in it and literally the cube became silent. I might have a go at 5V modding it, but not really sure where to start... I hear it's risky business!

    Cheers,

    Suman
