CPU Cooler
:D Hi all i.m about to Build a new system this will only be the second time for me so i'm still learning :D. The Motherboard is going to be an MSI K7N2 Delta-L, the cpu will be an Athlon 2400xp, the Heatsink i'm thinking of using is the Coolermaster CP5-8JD1F-0L, whitch i intend to buy from E Buyer. I have been reading the buyer reviews and they seem to be more for than against :D, what i'm not sure is whether this heatsink will fit the Motherboard i want to use  . I was wondering if any of you good folks had any ideas on the subject ??. Any advice would be most appreciated thanks in advance.

i would recommend one of these:

(sk-7, any of slk800 or slk900, the slk700 and sk-6 arnt asgood, but they are still v good)
ull need a fan for it aswell.

;) Coolermaster tend to make functional fans so do tend to adhere to std dimensions and weight, I think you'd be fine. I'd rec something with variable control, Volcano9 or preferably 11+ are under £15 www.dabs.com www.cpucity.co.uk (IIRC). XP2400+ is fine, esp if you need 266FSB or are limited to PC2100 RAM. Have you considered o/c'ing at all?

TT Volcano 11 is rather excellent, imo.

i would get the kamakaze as they are much cheaper than the slk's and arent that far behind in performance....
they are pretty new but there are a good few reviews around so you should be able to find one...
