ive got a dfi sli-dr but its chipset fan is so noisy i want to replace the fan and heatsink
anyone know any that would work and fit under the graphics cards

Check if your board have 1 or 2 PCIe between the 2 16x slots.
If you have 2 then a ZM-47J should fit. If you have only 1, then you need to find a china clone of the VF700-Cu, which is SVC-800-Cu. I had it fit on my DFI NF4 SLI-D but I broke the board with I was trying to fit the harddrive (and the giant heatsink blocks the way so I added too much pressure on it)

I still got the pics for it fitting a 6600GT DVI setup. If you have a card longer than reference 6600GT then that won't work.




PM me if you want the thing, since I broke the board and RMA-ed it, I don't need it now. If I do ever need one again I'll just buy

i think the 6800gt is quite alot longer than the 6600 which is a shame cos that heatsink looks cool
is there anyother ones that would fit ?

According to those folks over @ DFI-Street these two are suitable replacement:
Evercool VC-RE or Vantec Iceberg

Althouh they're fan-based their reviews said they're quiet, so might be worth a try.
