Yeah, its just slighlty annoying when you can see the CPU is only running at ten percent but your waiting for the geriatric 9600 to limp along and catch up.

What you have is a pretty good system anyway, and it's fine for the games you play, if you want to keep what you have now you'd be better simply upgrading the GPU to something AGP, or else going for S939.
Ok I think I may have hit a saving grace, I've just picked up cheap a used Athlon FX-51, so I think a New PC may be on the cards.
