Edit agian these are nice for the cash and would leave you enough to pick up the trust 5.1 Headphones that have thier own little amp thingy to bypass and go to the speakers also

lol watch that word, TRUST, seen more TRUST speakers on the bin pile than any other i reckon they make them with tin foil for speaker cones....
These http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/page/s...roduct_id/3250 are probably as good as you will get - bit over budget though...
ive always got on well with videologic stuff i still use there 5.1system on my pc and its very nice and crisp sound think it cost me about £60 2 years ago, but roll on total wireless...lol
i can recommend the logitech range of speakers.
My old z640's were excellent and these Z5500's leave me speechless at times. The replacement for the z640's the X-530's are meant to be pretty good too.
Another vote for the Z640's from me. For the money they cant be beat. You can pick em up for nothing these days.
why dont u go £50 over ur budget and buy the Z-5400, they're actually the wired version though.

Absolutely stay away from Trust. They are used by low-end OEMs.
Another vote for Logitech here. Creative Gigaworks (not cheaper models) are OK (but over budget) and the Klipsch are similar (if you can get hold of them).
thanks for the advice, gonn look in to them and see what i come up with.
