It's predominantly going to be used for Photo Printing, but should support normal A4 printing as well.

i just got a cannon ip5200 for £110 delivered and it blows all my epsons away with 9600 res, got a dvd printer inside it as well, so far been well impressed, not sure about it being for mac so ud have to check m8 but after the printers i have used over the years ill prob keep with cannon now worth the extra.
I have the Canon ip4200. AWESOME PRINTER! Superb quality prints, fast too. Loves it.
