    Shuttle SLI

I'm thinking of getting the new shuttle which supports SLI.
I'm probably going to buy the barebone system and get my parts seperately but is it possible to configure the two cards in sli like they do in the pre built package with the heatpipes?
Does the barebone system come with all the Shuttle ICE cooling and gpu cooling system?
Also because of the large fans and the heatsink for the gpu's is there enough room for 2 hard drives in raid 0?
    Any information will be appreciated.

the one you speak of is a good bit bigger than normal ones but still tiny

search google you will get actual reviews benchmarks and pictures

im sure they support 2 drives though

as for your choice of gfx cards im not sure if you will be limited to the single slot ones,

personally i would get single slot if possible and re do the thermal paste of both cards with arctic silver and probably mod the fan holes on the case (cut them right out ! ) for better breathing

its alot of heat in a tiny space you could even add in an extra little fan if your paranoid like me

but i would watercool it all an throw the fans and heatsinks away .....

Well they've specially developed heatpipes that connect directly to the gpu's processors and then are taken to the back where the heat is dissapated through a vent.
They do come pre-made like this but its abit pricey, I just wanted to know if the barebone system came with all of this and if it would be possible for me to attatch them myself, as I want to get my parts seperately = cheaper.

well i doubt they can sell you it seperate if its supposed to come with it , they have there own heatsink for the cpu which they have to supply so if they require you to strip your graphics cards to fit in there system they should be supplying you with the equipment

why not buy yourself the zalman reserator thing and get an extra gfx block would take up less room cool better and be silent ?
