Question Boards with 4 or More Dimm Slots?

    Guys,
A colleague at work needs an AMD motherboard with as many dimm slots as possible.

Does anyone know of a decent board that has 4 or more dimm slots?

    Thanks

Just a note on that tho, be warned stability of having more than 2 dimms in any current system is shakey at the best.

I'm aware of several people who have had more than "issues" with more than 2 dimms fitted. None of the manufacturers are paying that much attention to the stability and performance of the 3rd and 4th dimm.

I've also read a very interesting article a few months ago on it when PAT technology was being discussed as a gimmick.

I'll see if i can track it down..

also, remember that 32bit boards don't support more than 4Gb or RAM, full stop - even if you have a box of 2Gb dimms

This board does indeed have four slots, though details of dual-channel compatibility with all four slots filled is sketchy. Somewhere between no support, support for single-sided dimms only, to full support. Of course, this is a problem I'll, hopefully, never have to deal with.
