Firewire connection
Just finished building my new beast (Opty 144 runnig very well at 2800) and have a new case. Now I am trying to connect my front firewire connector in the case at my firewire card. This card has 3 external header and an internal one identical to them. Is there a way to connect the case internal pin header cables to a regular firewire connector ?

Does your mobo not have a firewire header on it?
not totally sure what u mean, u wanna connect the internal header, to a normal external firewire plug/socket?

No mobo is Abit KN8Ultra and has no firewire connection.
Yes I want to connect the case pins to a normal firewire connector, is that possible ?

Not sure tbh m8. I think in theory it should be. But you'd need a cable that has a firewire male internal header, to firewire connector. Not sure if such a thing exists.
You can get header extension cabels...

If you do order that cable (or find it cheaper, as that's quite dear), post to say if it works or not!

That's great! I'll keep that site in mind for future PC building.
