5.1 Help

ok just receive my lovely zalman 5.1 surroudn sound headphones plugged them in a no sound ... its no the headphones because they workl on everything else and on the line out port on my mobo just not on any others my friend said i may hav to enable 5.1 but how would i do that my mobo is the abit kn8 any ideas would be very helpful

You using the onbaord sound on that? It could be a digital coax or optical out, which won't be the same as your headphone minijack. Your sound card options, either via the control panel, or the bios might have an option to enable digital sound.

5.1 surround has 3 jacks, got em all plugged in?

from using the Medusa headset, I found you needed 6 ports to plug em all in, 2 front, 2 middle, 2 back. dunno if its the same on the Zalman ones?
