Is there anyway to increase my mouse speed beyond Windows default?
It appears and feels laggy on my system - I run an MX1000

can you change the dpi options? does that make a difference?
Erm, how?
Pointer speed to fastest didn't help?

Yeah I have them all at max:|
sorry, i was under the impression that all logitech mice could change the sensitivity or dpi setting through software.
Logitech mice should have + and - buttons somewhere near the scroll wheel. I'd suggest pressing the plus button until it's on maximum. Or, using the logitech software that came with it, set the DPI to maximum there. It's quite straightforward
Could you not use the Logitech software to turn on the mouse acceleration? I turned mine off because the MX1000 was too fast for me, half a mm and it shot across the screen.
