Unhappy help! my SN45G won't POST

it all started one day when i turned it on and my mouse didn't work. I couldn't get it to re-initialize so I rebooted. On the POST screen, it got to showing the memory size and then froze. Rebooted a 3rd time this time no post at all. Fan blows to full speed and stays there.

I searched and found ppl had a similar problem w/ the delay start but after swapping all parts from a friends working sn45g onto my mthbd w/ no success. I'm stumped.

its obviously something on the mtbd. Do I just need to get another bios chip or is the whole thing done?

    I can't seem to find a FN45 mtbd or a FN45U mtbd anywhere.

    thanks for the help!

Did you try resetting the BIOS?

    AS the two before said:

Strip the system to down to the basic's reset the CMOS.

You can on start up try holding down the insert key although this doesn't always work. I found that turning the system on and off quickly worked for me but thats an unorthadox method.

What is happening is your system is failing to post more than likly the interanal battery need replacing.
