RANT: People degaussing screens in uni

FFS! I wish people would stop their obsessive nature of degaussing the screens whenever possible. Since the monitors are so close together a degauss on one makes 2 or 3 do the same! Its frikkin annoying then you get everyone else copying them and you go back and forth ARGH!

Heh, we get the same problem at work, people facing each other, i've got 6 systems setup on my area and if i choose to degauss my big old 19" iiyama i can degauss all of my monitors and my colleagues 3 monitors on his desk too

I sometimes wonder if i should ask health and safety for some sort of safety gear to stop the degauss frying my brain
