    Question plastic chequerplate

i've seen loads of mods with plastic chequerplate stuck to the inside of the case, and I really like how they look so am tempted to do it, but the only suppliers I can find charge about £12-15 plus about £5 P&P for an unnecessarily large amount. I reckon this is a tad steep, so if anyone has found or heard of a good price, can you tell me where! I'm thinking some plastics supplier...
