ninja scythe here
with a 35c ambient (my pc cupboard) my stressed cpu doesn't go over 50c - thats with standard silicon paste ****e.
I am using the 120mm fan though
I don't really have anything to compare it with though, tbh.
Akasa Evo 33. Good although not amazing cooling, but damn quiet on low speeds without getting very warm at all.
Thermalright SI-120 with a thermally controlled 120 Panaflo Low speed fan. (it spins down a bit during idle because I like my comtuer quiet (thank DFI and ITE's Smart Guardian program)
XP-120
Arctic Cooling Freezer 64
Thermalright 948 U with a low speed 92mm fan - enjoy the silence :)
I'm using the AMD retail cooler that comes with the FX series which is built and designed by Coolermaster on both my 3500+ processors :)
heres the piccy - http://img.hexus.net/v2/cpu/amd/fx60/images/cooler.jpg
and the part number on it is CMHK8-8I22A-A2
Ya know what, I cant remember, I was using the AC64 Freezer thing but that stopped working on its own one day....
The one I'm using now is a big silver thing with a copper base, heat pipes and a 120mm(?) fan stuck to it
XP-120 with Akasa fan - nice and cool!
You can add what fan you like for a cool/quiet system! Good HSF.
XP-120 with a panaflo, running it at about 55% using speedfan.
PC is folding 24/7 and cpu temps around 45 deg with my 3700+ San Diego running at 2.835GHz :)
Akasa Evo33 - the idle temps are only slightly cooler than the stock heatsink/fan but it comes into it's own when under load, I'm yet to break 43°C when using burn-in tests (and that's with the fan on what I like to call 'medium'). The fan controller's rather cool too...
I'm running stock with my 3700 SD idle temp is 39 clocked at 2.57ghz. Cant really push my cpu any further due to my RAM.
Will change cooler when i get new ram.
Damn, that's a bit hot! I had my 3700+ SD up to 2.75GHz and it was idling at 27°C with the stock cooling. :undecided Need more case fans perhaps?
Vapochill Micro Highend with a Akasa amber 92 mm fan, cool and quiet thought thinking about getting a Big Typhoon :)
Akasa Evo33 here too.
Got it for £16.45 including delivery which is what swung me from the Gigabyte cooler, its so loud on full speed and only gets the CPU 2-3 degrees cooler than on low speed which I use it on, gets my 3700+ at 1.50V to 41 Degrees on full load which I am happy with.
XP-120 + High Speed Panaflo from the US :)
Awesome cooler and fan :D
