Overclocking potential
I have an AMD 64+ 3000 processor(think it is a clawhammer core as it is one of the original processors when it came out) and a K8V mobo, rest of rig as below.
What potential do you think I have for overclocking(with regards to the CPU and mobo) as I don't know how easy/hard it is to overclock with these.
I have never overclocked at all before so am looking for ease of overclocking to start with.

Start by slowly raisung your FSB 10 MHz at a time and check your PC is still stable with something like Prime 95.
Aftre about 220 Mhz total you will probably need to change the memory divider to keep memory running at 200/400 and drop HTT multiplier to 3 to keep HTT at about 800.
By doing this my 3200 Newcastle reaches 2.5 Ghz on a cpu multiplier of 10 and FSB of 250 memory with a divider is at 214 and HTT is 750.

Hope this helps.
