    Thermal Sensor

    Hi all,

I just wanted to know where the best place for a CPU thermal sensor is? I have the AKASA AK-FC-03 Fan Contorl Pro.

Wasn't sure if it was safe to clamp it between the cpu and heat sink?

    Thanks all

    Darren

Don't put it between the CPU and heatsink! If you did, you probably wouldnt have a cpu for much longer. It sounds like its fine where it is. At least it's giving you a vague indication

It's all good, i'm leaving it where it is. I thought that would be the best place for it, but i'd thought i check with the hexus gurus!

Hehe. Just making sure you didnt lose your processor. I know I'd be devastated if I lost my cpu

Try making a kinda channel or something like that the size of teh sensor on the IHS ? I pretty sure Intel do that to their ES CPUs
