It is, but a lot faster would be an AGP Radeon X800XL like wot I have. Custom PC put it somewhere between a 6800GT and Ultra so while it is a bit more expensive, it's a lot quicker as well.

Inno3D are a good make - Ive got a 6800 from them. overclocks like a god The 6600 is an alright card, though not knowing the rest of your system specs its hard to say whether the extra cash on a x800 will make any difference.

256 mb is an overkill on a standard 6600 (or any 6600GT), inno3d make some good cards but you are better of with a 128 Mb 6600GT rather than a 256 Mb 6600. Remeber more memory does not always mean better.

6600GT is much faster in games and has quicker memory.

There are some games that run noticeably faster with more memory. The extra 128Mb makes a big difference in Call of Duty 2, definately being worth the small cost.

The GPU does matter too, I wouldn't really recommend a 6600, if you could afford a 6600 DDR2 or 6600 GT, they are both significantly better than the base 6600, obviously the 6600 LE is to be avoided too.
