Hi all,
I just wanted to know where the best place for a CPU thermal sensor is? I have the AKASA AK-FC-03 Fan Contorl Pro.
Wasn't sure if it was safe to clamp it between the cpu and heat sink?
Thanks all
Darren

cheers though.
Don't put it between the CPU and heatsink! If you did, you probably wouldnt have a cpu for much longer. It sounds like its fine where it is. At least it's giving you a vague indication

Hehe. Just making sure you didnt lose your processor. I know I'd be devastated if I lost my cpuOriginally Posted by darrensen
Try making a kinda channel or something like that the size of teh sensor on the IHS ? I pretty sure Intel do that to their ES CPUs
