Upgrade headaches
Over the next little while I'm going to be upgrading a few key components of my PC.
I'm probably going to go for a Sapphire X1800XL as Scan are now listing them at very competative prices, about 190, and to go along with it I'm trying to get my hands on an Opteron 144/146 or some other S939 processor around that price range.
What I need is to find a good motherboard to hold them all together... Since my monitor is limited to 1280x1024 (no, I'm not upgrading that soon) and given the speed at which ATI and Nvidia are releasing new cards I don't think SLI or Crossfire are particularly cost effective(but probably lots of fun). I do want something that's very overclockable, I've got a very nice Waterchill system I'm planning to use, and I'd quite like good onboard sound if it'll save me money on a new soundcard.
Anyone got any ideas?

Abit, got Dolby Surround on the onboard. Or the MSI, got the Creative Live! 24-bit onboard.

Abit have the Heatpipe, the MSi can be noisey with its NB fan so consider that. I have an Abit AN8 Ultra and it clcokes very well.
I had a 144 to 313 on my AN*, shame it only had a 9X multi. If the budget will stretch consider a 3700SB I got an OEM for £145 delivered and its stable at 2.9MHz at 1.45v yummy :)
