    SN85G4 V3 setup success!

First, my network problem has been solved :-)
the first layer was that I hadn't installed some mobo drivers, but then there was nothing in the instructions to tell me to, was there?
Second, when I got the card activated, I got my internet connection going, but the two computers still wouln't talk to each other! That finally worked out as being caused by my two instances of Trend PC-Cillin Firewall preventing it.
Third, the other they don't tell you how to do is where to connect the card reader (it ships unconnected). Anyone know which connector to plug it to? And does it need separarate power? (I don't think it does)
This is a great, quiet little machine. I have an NVidia GeForce FX 5500 in it, 2Gb RAM and a 250Gb IDE HD right now. Love it! Yum!

    As ever,

PS Is it possible in some way to actually contact Shuttle Teh Support? A long distance call just connected to an answering machine, and no call back.

I think that the reader connects to a spare USB header on the MB.

Sorry I haven't replied sooner. That was the right idea on connecting the card reader. Unfortunately, the one format I need for my camera is Xd, which the card reader does not read. I'm thinking of removing it and putting a second hard drive into the space!

Thanks! These Shuttles are really cool!
