Heres all the drivers you need to download and install for the motherboard:
Motherboard Drivers
Theres no "on-board graphics". But make sure you install the AGP driver as this could be the source of your problem...
Nice timing nichomach!
Likewise, Mr. Modz! As far as not being able to D/L off nVidia, though, deeloughran, you could always try downloading from Guru3D?
All these are on the CD that came with my motherboard but wouldn't work, downloaded them again and still wouldn't work, coming up an error in a folder which has Symantec on it...this same problem is coming up when using Microsoft Word, is there any program that i can use to COMPLETLY remove Symantec and all remaining norton files as this may be the root of the problems, i have already uninstalled it and so on...but some files must be left on it
Using a shredder i have deleted all norton files but two files from Symantec are still there and cannot be deleted

THANKS!!! Been looking to get rid of that popup when Microsoft word comes on for months now! Everything to do with Symantec has been deleted off my computer but still when i go to install these drivers getting the message...
C: \PROGRA~1\Symantec\S32EVNT1.DLL. An installable Virtual Device Driver failed Dll initialisation. Choose ‘Close’ to terminate the application
The older driver installs alright yet i cannot find any trace of it on my computer and it is still has very slow scrolling?
Did you install the chipset drivers first and then the nVidia driver? In Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager, what's shown under "Video adapters"?
No, when trying to install these drivers i get the error message
Even coming up when i try to install them from the CD! Why is Symantec still coming up? It is COMPLETELY deleted from my computer! There is no video adapters showing upC: \PROGRA~1\Symantec\S32EVNT1.DLL. An installable Virtual Device Driver failed Dll initialisation. Choose ‘Close’ to terminate the application
right click desktop
go to properties
settings tab
advanced
troubleshooting tab
set hardware acceleration to none
GENIUS!!! !!! I can now scroll without hurting my eyes ! The drivers are now installing perfectly when i restart my computer should i turn the video acceleration back up to full?
COMPUTER IS COMPLETELY FIXED !!! AND...i think the problem of my monitor switching off but my hard drive still running has been solved by the re-installation of XP!!
Thanks for EVERY1's help and advice esp davos
I'm a happy bunny
you are welcome
