    Seasonic S12-600 cable arrangement

The spec sheet for the S12-600 (http://www.seasonic.com/pdf/datasheet/01PC/S12.pdf), states that this PSU has:

    6 x 4-pin molex connectors
    2 x 4-pin FDD connectors

Please can anyone confirm if these are arranged as:
    - two cables with 3 molex and 1 FDD
    or
    - two cables with 2 molex and 1 FDD
    - one cable with 2 molex

This is the latest revision of the PSU which now has 4xSATA cables as oppossed to the one reviewed in Custom PC in October which only had 2xSATA.

    Thanks

    Thank you very much.

Now I have to decide if I really want this PSU as the the 3 cable option would have been much more useful to me as I have a 4-pin molex on the bottom left of my motherboard, and 2 x opticals, 1 x FDD, 1 x X-Fi Front Panel (uses FDD) and some fans & cathodes that all need power

Another quickie - are the cables all sleeved? do they have easy release molex plugs?

    Yes

You can get a Molex to FDD splitter cable for a quid or two so I think you should focus more on critical performance factors

Alternatively buy a molex plug removal tool and a soldering iron then you can sleeve and mod the cables to your heart's content!

You're right, of course. I actually have a splitter with the X-Fi card, I think, so I will look at placement of my cathodes etc instead
