Just dusting out my case, and what do i find? Inside of my tubes are chock full of some kind of fluffy stuff. So ordered me some more tubing and well see about getting it cleaned out next week, that should be fun, not.

did you use tap water? use distilled water instead..
Nope, distilled water + water wetter. Must have got some little beasties in there somehow though.
I find that using redline water wetter makes the water (distilled) toxic which means no more algae :)
as i said, it clearly didnt work, although this was zerex, it smelt pretty damn toxic.Quote:

Either zerex isn't evil enough, or you didn't stick enough in to exterminate the scum.Quote:

Ive got some redline on the way with my new piping so we'll have to see. Does it turn your water that horrid pink colour? It looks like the damn nemesis at the moment.Quote:

I was thinking of flushing my system out as the pipes are a bit cloudy. Can anyone recommend the best fluid to use? I hear vinegar and water works well but that sound a bit suspect...
i've only flushed once with a water/bleach solution (go easy on the bleach) and then immediately flushed it several times with clean water to make sure none is left in there. It did no harm.
