Removing battery from ASUS A8N SLI

Basically im getting no video input showing up on my screen and taken everything out and put back in to no avail.

So i want to clear my CMOS, by which i have to remove battery then do the cmos thingy.
BUT i cant remove the battery, it seems to be stuck inside this black plastic casing. It has this metal clip on it.
But A: Duno wot to do wit that clip
B: Prob going to snap it if i try anything else

    Anyone got any ideas?

    thanks

You don't need to remove the battery to clear CMOS
Remove AC power, flip the CMOS clear pin over, wait for a few minutes then flip back

If you got no video input, does it beep or something? I had difficulty with my PCIe display but it worked with PCI, and I realized that the SLI selector card did not connect properly. Take the card, give it a nice clean then plug it back in and see if it works?

I don't know if its me, Windows DOES NOT BOOT without a working graphics card. I tried that back in Windows 2000 and it didn't boot into windows far enough for me to remote desktop into it.
