Not all Shuttles look the same. Also, there may be a better looking box (depending on your personal taste) but there is no better design. When if comes to SFF, design makes all the difference.Originally Posted by Memphis`

You might like to look at Aopen. MSI cases are a bit crap, alternatively there are the mirrored-faced Soltek Qbics
Biostars are quite good.
I'll second that as I have built at least 6 biostars for various people and owned several myself... Currently on a 210P (which the gf is getting cos I am moving back to a full size system) which runs very well. Beautiful internal design makes putting these puppies together stunningly simple n quick.
certainly good looks are an important, albeit highly subjective, aspect of any SFF system. so we leave that up to you
have you also considered cooling, noise and power supply requirements for your SFF?
this is one of the reasons i believe Shuttle are so successful in their overall system designs. take the "P series" chassis for example... the SN26P can handle SLI configurations with the latest AMD64 processors. simply consider the heat and power requirements for such a high performance setup.
i own an SN25P, and recently made some minor cooling mods to it... the system is now extremely quiet; it runs at about the same noise level as my Dell Inspiron 8600!

Well I've been looking at various systems, I like the shuttle for the cooling and layout but im abit concered about the power.
I'm thinking of now getting the new ATI X1900 XT-X.
Now I've read some benchmarks and it says that this will consume at most 300 Watts during gaming, as the shuttle only delivers 350 will this be enough to support the GPU as well as the CPU and the rest of the components?
Ah, but Shuttle Watts are better than most other watts, honest.
Another vote for Biostar here, have one myself very good, no probs from day 1

Most probably, yes.
The Shuttle SN26P has the 350W SilentX PSU, and that is able to cope with 2x Nvidia 7800GTX in SLI.

that will also depend on your choice of CPU and peripheral components. you may want to check with Shuttle for "official" graphics card support.
also, Shuttle Silent X PSU have rated efficiency of ~75-80% from memory? Most switch mode PSU will have efficiency of that order.

i have a biostar there very easy to built with a sensible layout and half decent looks although the light on the front is v irritating (doesnt take long to disconnect)
