Do you have a GA-K8NXP-9 or GA-K8NXP-SLI? because I have the latter.

To access the secondary BIOS go to into the main BIOS menu by holding down <del> at startup then press F8 and it takes you into the Dual BIOS/Q-Flash menu.

Then go to "Boot From" and change from main to backup BIOS, and that should do it I think provided the BIOS setup is the same for both boards.

If you're still unsure on how to do that I'd advise to read the user manual for the motherboard.

    Or download the manuals here:

    http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/m...e=GA-K8NXP-SLI

    http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/m...ame=GA-K8NXP-9

Although this all provided if you can actually see anything on your monitor, sorry if this isn't much help.

Sorry I think I misread your post actually, funny how getting a number and letter the wrong way makes such a difference.

Best bet is to search the gigabyte website for your motherboard, www.gigabyte.com.tw and find the user manual there and it should explain to you how to use the backup BIOS.
