    Question USB to Parallel adapter

Does anyone know anywhere that sells a USB to Parallel adapter?

I've found ones that go directly into a printer, but the type i need is the parallel end to be female like on the back of a pc as I need to plug a dongle into it for a piece of software to work as nearly all laptops now dont have a parallel port unless you spend 1k on it.

    Thanks

    Maplin does one.

No doubt, you can get something similar elsewhere for less money.

Thanks, but that one is for direct to a printer.

Having read most of the questions posted on that page, there isnt an adaptor in existance at the moment to do this job.

The vendor may do USB dongles, worth asking. We had probalems when we got a load of USB dongles and we were still running NT

There are some cables (not a dongle) listed on ebay which are USB to 25pin female.

    £6.99 + £3.99 Delivery.

Do you need it to be a dongle or will a cable do?

Thats great, just a shame they state it will not work with dongles as it shows as a usb port in windows...

    Thanks for finding it though!
