there must be SOME way of replacing the fan, cause its usually impossible to say a heatsink is useless cause the fan is busted.
    Ordinary 60/80mm fans not compatible???

I'm VERY sure almost any case fan (pref similar size or bigger) will fit. You will ideally want the same CFM rating ... or preferably higher. How did it do its job, was it good (and quiet)?

not sure how you'd go about replacing it though.

ive taken the fan off, and just screwed on the "orb" base on its own, then whacked a 120mm over it on a fan bracket which seems to work. There's no way of sticking another fan on it cause its a unique design nm this will do.

ive owned a zalman flower thingy before and its just a matter of swapping fans on the fan bracket i think.

XTR, it's not one of the one's with the fan bracket, it's this one :-

    http://www.zalman.co.kr/english/product/cnps7000cu.htm

i would have thought it would somehow be possible to attatch another 92mm fan in there though, you could always e-mail zalman and see if they've got any smart ideas

Im gonna try gluing it later and see, but i think the centrifugal force will be too much and itll fly off again.

Im using a 120mm on a fan bracket over it at the moment and it seems to be working well so im pretty much happy to keep it like it.

Im not sure who at zalman to email about it though, the US address seems a bit "generic".

u should be able to pull the part of the fan that spins off of the rest of the fan, with enuf effort, then just do same with another fan and push the new one on

Take any generic 92mm fan, cut off the three lags that hold the motor to the frame - Stick in new 92mm fan.

If the leg's are snipped off right beside the motor, then you have a 92mm fan that is the same as the one in the pic... (Maybe involving Bl00-Tak but hey...).

I have the same Fan and heatsink, zalman has replacements I beleave,Check with Zalman tech support and see if you can order a new fan, But due to abuse (broke "BTW" glue want hold) they want cover yours under warranty.

    addition to above suggestion

use 3m 1"W tape about 2 to there layer, because the bracket on th zalman is thicker than a reg fan.also take off the sticker on back of fan so tape sticks better and clean with any good clearner.use the screw holes on the fan bracket as your center guide.
