Do you think I could put 2 small motherboards in this case?

    Hey,

    http://www.coolermaster.com/special_...01/stc-t01.htm

This case has 2 PSU brackets and 12 harddrive slots. I was thinking about putting 2 computers in one case. These aren't supposed to be gaming computers, so I don't care so much about the powerfulness of the systems.

I realize I would have to add new screw holes to the motherboard mounting plate and extensively modify the back plate to allow the PCI cards to attach properly, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a motherboard formfactor that I might be able to squeeze 2 in there.

    Thanks

My mate had to do a similar thing, he ended up using a 'cube' case, its massive (size of two standard PCs) but it does the job.

EDIT: This is the same idea though my mates is less flashy than this: http://www.xoxide.com/xulalcucu.html

I would think the two boards would physically fit in, but you would have to start looking at things like half-height GFX cards & using onboard audio etc.

To make life much easier, just get two small cases and glue them together

Yep, I saw somewhere else a guy basically got two SFF PCs and stuck em on top of each other then made a second shell to cover the gaps, it looked really good.
