Can Micro-ATX motherboards use ATX power supplies?

I already have a ATX PSU and was wondering if I could just use it for my upcomming Micro-ATX system.

For the mobo, yes.
Depending upon the mATX case design ATX PSUs may not fit though.

Yes, micro ATX is just a different shape. It is electrically the same.
