    I have a friend who has a few clear cases....I'll ask him what's been the best in his experience, but he's on hol atm...

    for a while I was You see, I cant decide if I should waste $200 on a new case or not. I always wanted a clear case but at the same time I dont wish to spend the cash. So for now I'm browsing

    I would advise against a clear acrylic case as some of these do not conform to the FC regulations regarding suppressing of EMF interference and shielding.

    Nor does any case with a window, unless it has a mettalic mesh across it. In 5 years of owning a windowed case i have had no issues whatsoever with interference.

    I think a clear case looks ok but there needs to be careful thought when placing the wiring etc. You don't want masses of acbles going everywhere!! As for the hard drives, you could always try suspending them from the Cdrom bays etc. This will cut down on most of the noise.
