Heh, I've had stuff arrive from komplett in ~19hrs. Ordered just before 3pm and it arrived just before i left for work at 9am the next morning.
All the way from Norway via Denmark...
Totally amazed

I ordered something from dabs (HP 5550 - £50! - and 2 joypads) and they arrived a month and a half later!
Now beat that for a dissapointment!
Genetically modified crops - answer to starvation in Africa?
Umm, I often get my item the next day (assuming I order early enough the previous day).
Ebuyer seem to the the exception. Assuming their items are in stock, I have always received on the date they said it would arrive.
Unfortunately, it is hard next day.
If you order something on Tuesday evening (well, think Wednesday morning), then (I) do not expect it to arrive before the following week..
Anyone know anything of Corsair? Their mem is cheaper than others right now. and I heard the quality was great.

corsair, cheap? LOL
corsair dont make the acctual mem chips they just stick them on shiny pcbs, and if anotehr manuf used same chips, there shouldnt be much difference atall.... afaik corsair use winbond bh-5 chips or something, which iirc twinmoss, adata, winbond, and few other companys have used
Crucial really are a good bunch of people.
Fast, cheap and a VERY good website.
Corsair 256 PC3200 - $45 (27 sterling). 512 PC3200 $84 (50 sterling). Rounded to nearest whole pound.
Cheap enough?

Man.. That ain't right
But quite possible (esp. if its the value ones).
A quick check on PriceWatch shows some CAS2 PC3200 Corsair RAM for $60.
At that price, I would definitely go for them... Heck, I've paid for for more for Twinmos...
CAS2? Better or worse than Value? Is the Value worth going for?

crucial have always been the win Using 512mb PC2100 for my ickle bro's system, with some beasty geil in mine
I arranged for some firmware to be sent from our developers about 4PM one afternoon. It was waiting for me, on my desk, at 8AM the following morning. The impressive bit - my desk was in central London and the developers were in OHIO!!!!Originally posted by Flanderz
Thats nothing. I ordered off Dabs at 23:00 one night. Next day at 11:00am it came, now beat that.
12 hours ...
It was urgent, so was sent on a premium service, and had been taken down to the courier by the development manager in person, but it still managed two flights (one transatlantic), customs clearance, and biking from Heathrow to Central London in 16 hours. If I sent a letter to my next door neighbour, it'd take longer than that
Does that beat yours?
Mine might have taken about 4 hours longer than yours, but it did travel about 3500 miles.
I know people are just thinking "Why pop this post?" but it's needed.
Crucial are absolutely brilliant at delivering their goods. I've just ordered a stick of RAM from them and the order has been dispatched. Within 7 minutes - Its gone.
I expect to see it tomorow
