Overclockers.co.uk - is it just me or do they really suck?

I got a load of stuff from these guys in August - I've used them before and they OK for deliveries. The mobo just failed, and I sent it back to them for RMA. After sitting on it for a week, they then RMAd it to their supplier and have told me it'll take a MONTH to get a replacement.

I wouldn't mind, but it's an ASUS A8N-SLi premium, so the MUST have some in stock. Is this normal business practice? I've never had to RMA anything before, but this seems well harsh!

What are the other competing companies, scan for example like on RMA stuff?

Well, an Enermax PSU I bought from them died. But I just contacted Enermax (Coolergiant) directly for a replacement (the ordeal isn't over yet, will see how that goes).

There seem to be not a whole lot of love for OCuk around here.. slightly ironic, since I only found Hexus after I found OCuk... and I thought they were associates at the beginning.
I don't know how Scan is nowadays for RMAs (and I hope that I won't need to find out). Judging by the praises, they must be doing things right now. Having said that, my sole RMA experience with them (over 2 years back) was memorable.. just not in a very good manner (and put me off buying from them until late last year).

RMAed my board back to Scan not 3 months back.. Called on Saturday, and CITYLINK was at my door 9am on Monday morning. They inform me that the board was fine on Tuesday.. and the board is back by Wednesday noon. Other than the ultra expensive carriage I had to pay for sending something that aint duff... I would praise the RMA service to be pretty effective.

KustomPCs, bot some Cold Cathode from them... then the Inverter went duff, called on friday afternoon.. told me they wont even need to verify whether its duffed.. they just sent me the new stuff for free. Arrived saturday morning....

In OCUK's defense I've RMA'd both a motherboard and a graphics card and had replacements at my door less than 5 days after the parts were sent back. This was between 6 months and a year ago.

Not saying their perfect just countering the bad points with a good point.
