    Low End Overclocking Competition

Don't know how many here frequent Xtremesystems, but there is an interesting little comp running over there.

See this thread for details: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...threadid=21842

    This thread to signup: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...threadid=21986

Basically we are setting up a fair overclocking competition, where we all compete on a level playing field using a Xabre 400 graphics card. There are groups and other things, but all is talked about in those threads. If you want anymore info don't hesitate to contact me, e-mail in trust. Or ask on the forums, all a really helpful bunch over there.

The competition is being created so anyone with any system can compete. Which is how the Xabre graphics card was decided upon due to it's cost pretty much every overclocker should be able to afford £25-30.

Would be cool to see a few of the faces from here in the comp.

I think a Xabre (SIS?) employee set up that competition... sounds gay.

Sounds like a waste of £25-30

I can honestly say no one from SIS was involved, originally we were all going for GF4MX's but the Xabre came up and sounded like a nice change from the norm.

Tis a bit of fun modding the hell out of a card you aren't afraid to kill, and gives all the little guys a chance to compete with the big guys on massive systems

EDIT :-: Also I'd imagine if SIS had been trying to set it up they'd have got us using the Xabre 600 (which I reviewed) as that is the most recent card of theirs I know of.

Well if ypu browse the threads there are details, a deal on the Xabre 400 cards has been obtained. So unless you are happy doing it through the comp entries will most likely not be allowed.
