Thermal paste

Can you guys please recommend me a good thermal paste? need to replace my CPU heatsink and it's a nice one so I want a good paste to do it justice. Ta

Arctic Silver or Ceramique. Probably the best thermal pastes you can get. Chose Ceramique if you're worried about electrical conductivity.

Pretty much anything with 'silver' after the name's gonna be alright as long as it's by a reputable company. Arctic, Akasa and OCZ all do the job wonderfully.

Having digged a bit further, it seems that the MX-1 is bundled with some of the heatsink sold by Artic cooling. In places that sells both the MX-1 and AS5, the AS5 is more expensive. Considering that both are made by the same manufacturer, it would be surprising if this new paste is designed to outclass the AS5. Of course, I'd still like to see some comparisons just to know whether I should get the AS5 or MX-1 for my next heatsink. But I would put my money on AS5 right now.
