i want to lower the cpu speeds when idle to save heat and noise but i couldnt seem to get rmclock to work and cool n quiet doesnt appear to be either anyone have tips to get rmclock working on dual core opterons ? is there anything i should change in the bios?
any other tips are more than welcome :)

thanks alot dark horse after some messing with crystal ive got my opteron running from 1.55 ghz to 2.8 automatically when it needs to and idle is down to 25c but thats with my vcore offset by 200mv so i can only get the voltage down to 1v
if asus release a bios with higher voltage options i will be able to drop right down to .8v as i could stop using the ofset thing
