Logitech G5 all the way, frankly the best mouse ever, there aren't enoufh superlatives for how accurate and responsive it is. Fantastic for gaming. Can't be beaten.

G5 would be my choice tbh.
I'd say go for the Logitech MX518:
- Two side buttons over the G5's one (aside from the gaming advantage it can be used as 'back' and 'forward' in net browsers).
- Same fits-in-your-hand shape.
- Same on-the-fly dpi changing buttons.
- Lower dpi than the G5, but to be honest, unless you're doing something special you'll never need over 1600dpi.
- Cheaper, so you can use the cash saved to buy a nice mouse mat - I recommend the Steelpad QcK.
