    What location are you at Merlin. Usually even if you post it, you would probably not find any other Hexus peeps nearby - but sometimes you are nearby someone else with a system who can help out and let you swap components in and out of their system.

    what noise does it make if u just leave the RAM out? or is the pulsing bit the problem?

    what wattage/make is the psu?

    reset cmos and hold insert when you try to boot, should reset any settings to defaults... bleep codes point to ram, and iv got that error before when my ram is eitheer over or under volted too much.

    350w enermax psu, so i doubt thats the problem. does seem to point to it though. thanks again to all for good advice.
