A bit of advice on divx/xvid please

Just setting up my mega bargain Media Center PC for my son......

I want o convert his DVDs to divx and or xvid

Anybody recommend a good bit of freeware that will to this with the minimum of fuss?

Also does Media Center support xvid/divx natively?

    Cheers, Dave

    AutoGK is pretty much automated.

I would doubt Microsoft would package competitor codecs in their media center, but you'll need to download the codec pack for AutoGK for encoding anyway.
