7900gtx Water cooling
Hey guys
wondering if i brought a xfx 7900gtx XXX edition and planned to watercool it, would it:
1) be worth it (o/c potiential "1337ness :P" fidderly ect)
2) be detrimental to gfx performance (i say this becuase iv noticed ram is also cooled by the 7900gtx defualt hsf but with watercooling ram chips would be bare...
i was looking at this kit http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=303401
what do people think of this kit? is it worth putting a custom made kit together?
cheers

Yes its worth putting a custom kit together,
it will probably not oc any better, but will run much cooler.
Youd either put passive ramsinks on, or you can get water blocks that cover the ram too (dangerden innovatek, aquacomputer)

If your going to do it do it properly, water cool everything. Aquacomputer do great stuff and its cheap if you get it from thier store in germany, uk delivery just 9 euros and its a hell of alot cheaper than places over here ie kustompcs.

Should image that the NV 78 block would fit, check if it definatly does first tho. :)
