    portable computer-less photo tranfer, possible?

I have a sony digital camera which uses memory sticks, i'm just wondering wether there is a device which will let me copy over the photos off my mem stick pro and onto my usb hard drive without using a computer, so that i can do it while out and about.

iirc if you have an iPod Belkin make an adapter that copies the contents of the memory stick from the digicamera to the iPod. Have a look on the online store

I have a Sony HDD Photo Storage device (HDPS-M1). there is a newer version, but i don't know if it was ever released in the UK. There are loads of similar devices though. I know Epson do a really neat high end one with a nice big screen etc. Or you could look at some of the hard drive MP3 plavers that have USB host functions. The Archos AV500 and 700 have this. It's one of the (many) reasons i want an AV500

well belkin do a usb to usb adaptor (usb anywhere) but that would require a card reader as well, i have a 40gb pocket hard drive and so the epson and archos things are extremely desirable but a bit overkilly

of course, i was forgetting Sony cameras are not mass storage compatible as XP has the Sony drivers included.
