    Abit NF7-S (v2.0) chipset drivers with win98

    Hi all,

Yesterday me and my brother decided we needed to play some c+c95 on LAN (what a mistake!!!)

    1) Put a new hard drive in each computer (1.2gb in mine, 4gb in his)
    2) Install win98
*See my other post for my brothers computer problem...*
    3) I installed win98, but there were lots of problems.
    4) I finally managed to format it today, after making a boot disk, and reinstalled.
    5) This time it all seems ok!
    6) Got the nfroce 2 chipset drivers for Win98/Me. Installed them
    7) There are lots of files missing , .drv, .sys, .dll, .dls files (i can post all the file names that were missing if people want.
    8) in device manager there are problems with sound, LAN, and something about PCI. (after installing the drivers.)
    9) I then set-up the network there are lots of files missing from here as well, .dll, .exe, .vxd, .sys

Is there a way to install the drivers separatly not as one big driver? such as Sound, then LAN, and the the PCI things? or can i only do it all as one?

Is there a way to get these missing files?

    Man i hate win98

Hoepfulyl someone can help me with some of this.

    Will

why not play a more recent c&c, after all they are all the SAME GAME!!!

while ur there, total anihilation and warzone 2100 were good rts's that i used to play when i still had win98, they might also work in 2k, i hope tehy do
