Alright, I need a board that has the capacity to do at least 250-260ish HTT

I need to get a PCI-E board to replace my old system.. I need a board that will do 250-260ish, but I cant justify the immense cost of the A8N Premium or any SLI series.. The HTT headspace is for my 3200+ to do 2.4Ghz.. The board must also be stable running 4 sticks of memory as it will be running 4 ballistix microns

I know those reviews and all, just needed more first hand information on other boards.. I have a DFI-NF4 and its great, but its £80+... I wanted something that goes cheap, handles HTT well, stable, takes PCI-E and no need for SLI. How does Foxxconn boards stack up in reality.. their reviews have been great, but anyone have first hand experience with them?

I need (hopefully) to reserve the rest of my funds for possibly a 7900GT or a X1800XT, so any suggestions are welcomed with open arms..

EpoX NF4-Ultra would be your best bet imho :)

Epox boards with the green PCBs are way wayyy too ugly.. anything less eye straining? The KN8 looks interesting.. Hows does the Foxxconn boards work?

do you really care the colour of a computers motherboard ? if you would rather pick a board with a pretty pcb rather than 1 that functions better you really need to get out more .....

You have a point, but the Epox board is by far too ugly... How does the SoftMenu compares to the uGURU? Got so used to the Abit Clock.. might actually feel lonely if its gone..

And they'd probably force me to go down one notch on the graphics card end... Nop..

I sort of agree that overclocking works best in BIOS, but the uGURU is still a really cool feature that actually works.. abeit to a lower limit..... Well at least it worked for me.. probably not everyone else.. :P

I have the Abit A8N-Ultra and it's a good board. Should be ~£80 these days

280FSB is rock solid, but I'm running 270 for 1:1 memory.
